My Favorite Robin Hood Movie
I like several others bear in mind seeing this on HBO within the early 80s repeatedly. i used to be ready to procure a replica at a later date (You will get this title from Amazon.com for those longing for a copy) and located it simply as enjoyable as I did once I was younger.

Like most Robin Hood movies you have got to require it with a grain of salt. In some places the acting could be a very little over the highest, a number of the combat feats are unbelievable and everything is extremely black and white however this is often what Robin Hood is all regarding. I honestly get pleasure from this version way more than any others that return to mind. i assumed that each one the actors were o.k. solid and that i like that they're all Englishmen thus no unhealthy accents to be found. The settings are good and one in every of the simplest things regarding the film as is that the costuming. What i feel i really like most regarding this film is that the scale. This story's fight the parable is Robin because the adopted son of a minor Norman lord who is in conflict w/ his cousin who wrongly inherits his father's title and lands and is in league w/ the evil Sheriff of Nottingham. Prince John is nowhere to be found though he's mentioned. In all truth i feel that a minor lord w/ the assistance of the Sheriff is over enough for any cluster of outlaws to face.

If you're a lover of the Robin Hood mythos i feel you may do way worse than finding out this glorious fight this widespread tale.
